Gibson/epiphone Mm-70 – F5 Mandolin
This is a 1982 Epiphone MM-70 Mandolin. I bought it used in 2000. Since then I have played the devil out of it so it is certainly broken in. I finally saved up enough to by me a Randy Wood mandolin so I just don't play this one much anymore. This is not a typical epiphone mandolin if you know anything about them. The MM-70 is a top of the line epiphone and it was made back when they made a decent instrument. It is not a cheap instrument like the mm-50s. It does have a few minor issues; most of which were there when I purchased it so they havent made any difference in the playbility. It will need a new fret job in the near future. It has a hairline crack in finish of the headstock (hasn't been a problem). There is also a small piece of the binding gone from the bottom point (I did that). Anyway its been a good one, and it will make someone a good first or second instrument. I paid over $700 for it. The Gibson case is valuable itself. Shipping price will be whatever the postoffice charges.
